Elizabeth Cottingham is a writer from New Jersey. She graduated from Montclair State University with a B.A. in English and a concentration in Creative Writing. During her time there she won the English Department’s Creative Writing Award for Nonfiction.

Her work has appeared in Every Day Fiction and Little Old Lady Comedy. She was one of the winners of Serious Flash Fiction 2024 Annual Flash Fiction Competition. Her tweet-length story appears in both the tenth anniversary collection Serious Flash Fiction: Volume I – X edited by Ben Warden and Serious Flash Fiction: Volume X  edited by Ben Warden. An interview with her is featured in Episode 21 of The Between.

When she isn’t writing she enjoys sculpting and painting tiny things that may or may not qualify as art.
